Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks oleo
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. white Karo
    pinch of cream of tartar
    6 qt. popped popcorn
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, mix the first 5 ingredients and bring to a boil, boiling gently for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in 1 teaspoon soda.
    Mixture will foam.
    Pour mixture over popped corn; mix well.
    Place in oven for 1 hour at 200\u00b0.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Raw peanuts may be stirred in before baking.
