Dorothy'S Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    3 lb. pot roast
    1 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    In heavy kettle, melt Crisco.
    Brown roast slowly on all sides.
    Add chopped onions, flour, brown sugar, dry mustard and salt.
    Add vinegar and water.
    Cover and simmer slowly for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, or until tender.
