Ida'S Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    peaches
    1 qt. cider vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    4 sticks cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. whole allspice
Preparation
    Wash and sterilize jars and lids.
    Peel as many peaches as you want to pickle or your kettle will hold.
    Mix in large kettle, cider vinegar, sugar, cinnamon and whole allspice.
    Place on stove and bring to a boil.
    When boiling, drop in peaches and cook until tender.
    Place in jars with juice to cover.
    Seal at once.
