Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) can tomato puree
1/4 c. boiling water
6 Tbsp. light brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. white bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/4 c. butter
Preparation

Add sugar and salt to tomato puree and water; boil for 5 minutes.
Place bread cubes in casserole.
Pour melted butter over them.
Add the tomato mixture.
Bake, covered, for 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Serve with meats.
