Harvard Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can beets
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. liquid from beets
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients, less the beets until thick.
    Then add beets, cook until beets are hot.
