Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. applesauce (can use 16 oz.)
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1/2 c. real hot water
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Mix shortening, sugar, egg and applesauce together, then add rest of ingredients.
Bake in tube pan 45 to 60 minutes.
