Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation

In bowl, combine eggs, sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla and salt.
Blend well.
Sprinkle pecans in bottom of pie shell.
Pour sugar mixture over nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serve slightly warm. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
