Fudge Nut Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick cooking oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar.
Mix in eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla.
Sift together flour, soda and 1 teaspoon salt; stir in oats.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Set aside while you make filling.
