Chocolate-Mint Shamrocks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
few drops green food color
3 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. mint flavored semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped
green sugar
Preparation

Mix sugar, margarine, shortening, vanilla, eggs and food color in a large bowl.
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir in chopped chocolate chips.
Divide dough into 4 parts.
Shape each part of dough into a roll, 1-inch in diameter and about 10 inches long.
