Gone Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. cocoa
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Bring everything except vanilla, nuts and salt to a boil without stirring and continue until the mixture forms medium-hard balls when dropped in cold water.
    Remove from heat and let sit without stirring until lukewarm.
    Mix in vanilla, nuts and salt. Beat until it gets a dull glossy look.
    Quickly pour into buttered pan and cut into squares before it gets too hard.
