1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
2 large eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. peanut butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream together shortening, sugar and peanut butter. Add beaten eggs alternately with dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Press lightly with fork to make crisscross pattern. Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
