Grandma'S Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla or other flavor

Preparation

Beat together Crisco and sugar.
Then add eggs, one at a time, beat well.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add flour mixture to Crisco.
Mix.
Then add milk and lastly the vanilla.
Grease a tube pan.
Pour batter into pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Cool.
Remove from pan.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar when cooled.
