Cheese Drop Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and baking powder; cut in cheese and shortening.
    Add milk all at once and stir carefully until dry ingredients are damp.
    Stir vigorously until mixture forms a soft dough that clings to bowl.
    Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
