Grandmother'S Spoon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. plain corn meal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. water
1 egg
1 Tbsp. Crisco
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Mix dry ingredients.
Add liquids and mix thoroughly.
Melt Crisco in Pyrex dish.
Pour in corn meal mix.
Cook in hot oven for half an hour.
Will be consistency of thick pudding.
