Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. cooking oil
    3 c. grated carrots
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 cream cheese frosting
    16 oz. confectioners sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix together all dry ingredients and set aside; combine eggs, oil, carrots and pecans until well blended.
    Gradually add dry ingredients.
    Mix at a low speed until sugar dissolves (approximately 2 minutes).
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until cake begins to pull away from sides of the pan.
