Japanese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Japanese vegetables (frozen)
    1 can chow mein vegetables, drained
    1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. sugar or sweetener
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour over vegetables, tossing gently. Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight.
