Quick Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    3 c. flour
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Combine water, shortening, sugar and salt in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until shortening melts.
    Let cool to lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in mixture.
    Add egg; mix well.
    Stir in flour.
    Spoon dough into greased muffin tins.
    Fill half full. Cover and let rise in warm place (85\u00b0), free from draft for 1 hour, until doubled in bulk.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
