Canned Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. cut green beans
1/2 gal. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation

Combine all ingredients and boil for 15 minutes.
Pack beans, boiling hot, in boiling hot jars and seal immediately with hot lids.
When opened, these beans require longer cooking time, but have a better flavor than cold packed beans.
