Pickle Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cucumbers
    4 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    4 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Place turmeric, mustard seed, salt, vinegar and sugar in a saucepan.
    Bring to rolling boil.
    Pack 6-quart jars full of cucumbers cut lengthwise.
    Pour solution over cucumbers and seal.
