Beef And Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 beef soup bone
    1 lb. beef for soup, cut in cubes
    1/2 tsp. peppercorns
    1 bay leaf
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 large carrot, diced
    2 qt. water
    1 c. green beans (fresh)
    1 c. corn
    1 c. potatoes, diced
    2 1/2 c. tomatoes
    1 green pepper, diced
    1/2 clove garlic, cut fine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large pot, put soup bone, meat, one tablespoon salt, peppercorns, bay leaf and two quarts water.
    Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer in a covered pot for one hour.
