Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1 c. soft butter
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; set aside.
    Cream butter; add 1 1/2 cups sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy. Blend in eggs.
    Add dry ingredients gradually, mixing well.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    Shape dough into small balls, using
    1 tablespoon dough for each ball.
    Combine remaining 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon; roll balls in sugar mixture.
    Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake about 10 minutes.
    Store in covered container.
    Yield:
    2 to 3 dozen.
