German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. small red potatoes, boiled and cooled
    1 lb. bacon, diced
    4 or 5 hard-boiled eggs
    1/2 c. finely cut green pepper (more if you like)
    1 c. finely cut onions
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. finely cut pimento or fresh sweet red pepper
    1/4 c. chopped parsley (optional)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. flour (about)
Preparation
    Slice potatoes.
    Fry diced bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon fat from pan, except for 3 or 4 tablespoons.
    Saute 1/2 of onions lightly
    in bacon fat; add to potatoes.
    Add cut up eggs, green pepper, pimiento, 1/2 onion and about 3/4 of bacon.
