Popovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. melted shortening or margarine
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Sift flour and salt together in a large bowl.
    Beat eggs and add milk and shortening or margarine.
    Place a dot of margarine in each cup of muffin pan.
    Heat in oven until melted and hot.
    Make a well in flour mixture.
    Pour in egg mixture.
    Beat with egg beater until smooth.
    Pour batter into sizzling pans.
    Fill 1/3 full.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 325\u00b0.
    Continue baking 15 minutes or until after \"popped over\" and firm.
    Turn off oven.
    Leave popovers in oven long enough to get crisp.
