Caramel Nut Acorns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter
    3/4 c. finely packed brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose or unbleached flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    24 vanilla caramels
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In medium saucepan, heat margarine and brown sugar until margarine melts; stir until smooth.
    Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
