Prune Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. prune juice (from cooked prunes)
    1 lb. prunes, cooked, pitted and cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Cream
    sugar
    and
    shortening.\tAdd
    eggs.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Alternate
    dry ingredients and prune juice until it is all used up.
    Add prunes and nuts and beat until smooth. Fill 8 empty
    soup cans half full and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour. Easy to take out of can; slice and serve.
