Mango Chutney(Relish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, mashed
    1 lime, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 c. raisins
    5 large mangoes, peeled and chopped (6 c.)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except mangoes.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat.
    Simmer 1 hour or until thick.
    Watch and stir frequently.
    Add mangoes.
    Simmer 30 minutes more.
    Can or store in refrigerator.
    Delicious on chicken and rice or turkey and dressing.
