Buttermilk White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 egg whites
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add butter, shortening, vanilla, 1 cup buttermilk and egg whites.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Bake in 2 greased and floured 9 x 1 1/2-inch round pans at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes, then remove.
