Strawberry Fig Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. figs, quartered and stemmed
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 lemon, sliced
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1/8 c. water
Preparation
    Mix together and bring to full boil.
    Then keep boiling for 25 minutes.
    Put into hot jars and seal.
    Makes 2 pints.
