Linguine And Red Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    4 red peppers, sliced into thin strips
    4 carrots, sliced
    1 small can light pear halves, diced
    2 c. crushed tomatoes in puree
    1 Tbsp. basil
    pepper to taste
    1 pkg. linguine
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Combine olive oil, red peppers, carrots, pears, crushed tomatoes, basil and pepper.
    Stir and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes.
    Pour sauce over cooked linguine and top with Parmesan cheese.
    Serve with green salad and hot bread.
