Bran Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3 c. all-bran
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 lb. raisins
Preparation
    Beat egg; add sugar and beat.
    Add corn syrup and mix well. Add buttermilk.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to the mixture.
    Add all-bran and raisins.
    Mix well.
    Grease and flour 5 tin cans.
    Fill them about 2/3 full.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
    Serves 5 loaves, 10 slices a loaf.
