Picadillo(Savory Ground Beef) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
    1 large green bell pepper, cored, seeded and chopped
    3 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
    1 lb. extra-lean ground beef
    1/4 c. tomato sauce
    1 small (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced, ripe olives
    1/4 c. raisins
    1 Tbsp. capers
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
    1/2 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
    1 (6 oz.) jar pimentos, drained and sliced
    white rice
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    Saute the onions and green pepper until the onion is translucent, about 3 minutes.
    Add the garlic and cook 2 minutes more.
