Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    5 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
Preparation
    Dissolve
    yeast
    in
    warm
    water.
    Mix\ttogether; flour, baking
    powder, salt and sugar.
    Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk in
    which soda has been dissolved.
    Mix well, roll out on board. Cut
    with
    biscuit\tcutter,
    place on baking sheet, oil tops lightly,
    store in refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Remove from refrigerator, let rise slightly, bake 15 minutes at 375\u00b0, until brown.
