Cherry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1/2 pkg. dry white or yellow cake mix or 1 pkg. Jiffy cake mix
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Butter a 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Place the cherry pie filling in pan. Top with the cake mix.
    Melt 1 stick margarine.
    Pour over cake mix.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes. Delicious warm or cold.
    Does not need to be refrigerated if any is left.
