Butter Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter, softened (not margarine)
    5 eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy.
    Add 2 eggs and beat.
    Add flour and beat, then add 1 egg at a time, beating after each one.
    Add vanilla.
    The more you beat, the lighter your cake will be.
    Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until done.
