Mexican Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak, cut into small pieces and all fat trimmed off
    Crisco or lard
    salt, pepper and garlic powder
    1 onion
    1/2 green pepper
    1 stalk celery
    1 pt. tomatoes
    1/2 tsp. cumin powder
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Brown steak good in Crisco or lard.
    Add salt, pepper and garlic powder while browning meat.
    Add onion, green pepper and celery, cut up.
    Saute real good.
    Add tomatoes, cumin powder and water after meat is browned.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Add more water if needed.
    Serve over cooked rice.
