Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. whole kernel corn or cream-style corn
    1/3 c. milk
    oil
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Blend milk and egg.
    Add gradually to dry ingredients.
    Stir in drained, whole kernel corn. Drop from spoon into skillet in hot oil.
    Fry on both sides like a pancake.
    Cook 2 to 5 minutes.
    Drain on absorbent paper towel.
