Oatmeal Cake And Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
    2 eggs
    1 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oatmeal and margarine and let stand 20 minutes. Mix well. Add eggs, vanilla, white sugar and brown sugar. Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and add to mixture. Pour mixture into a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
