Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 refrigerated pie crust
    5 medium tomatoes, peeled and thickly sliced
    1 Tbsp. sweet basil or Italian seasoning
    4 Tbsp. onions, chopped
    3/4 c. mayonnaise or just enough to hold cheese together
    1 1/2 c. grated cheese (can mix cheeses, Cheddar, Swiss, Sharp; I use sharp Cheddar)
Preparation
    Bake pie shell according to directions. Put tomatoes in pie shell. Sprinkle with basil and onions. Mix mayonnaise and cheese. Spread on top of tomatoes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes until cheese melts and tomatoes are hot. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
