Fresh Apple Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. melted shortening
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped unpeeled apples, mashed up fine
Preparation

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt into mixing bowl.
In separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour apple mixture over dry ingredients and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake 20 minutes at 400\u00b0.
