September Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large tomatoes
    2 large bell peppers
    3 large onions
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Put the tomatoes through the blender. Cut the peppers and onions into quarter-inch squares and add to tomatoes.
    Add other ingredients.
    Simmer until rather thick.
    Bottle in sterile jars. Seal and invert to guarantee the seal.
