Upside-Down Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. brown sugar
6 fresh pear halves
chopped walnuts
Preparation

Melt butter in 9-inch square cake pan.
Add corn syrup and brown sugar; blend.
Fill 6 pear halves with walnut meats.
Place cut side down in pan.
Pour gingerbread batter over pears.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 50 to 60 minutes.
Serve warm.
