Surprise Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 package lemon Jello
    1/4 pound cream cheese
    1 cup chopped celery
    1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
    1/2 cup nuts, chopped
    1/2 pint whipped cream
    lettuce
Preparation
    Pour pineapple into saucepan and bring to boiling point.
    Add lemon Jello and cream cheese.
    Stir and let cool.
    Add celery, cherries, and nuts.
    Add whipped cream and chill.
    Serve on lettuce.
