"Unstuffed" Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. coarsely shredded cabbage, divided (approximately 1/2 large head)
1 medium onion, chopped
3/4 tsp. salt
1 (10 3/4 oz.) cream of tomato soup
brown sugar (optional)
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/8 tsp. pepper
celery seed (optional)
dash of garlic salt
Preparation

Sprinkle 3 cups shredded cabbage in bottom of a 2 to 3-quart buttered casserole.
Saute chopped onion in small amount of oil until softened, but not browned.
Add ground beef and cook and stir until lightly browned.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Spread meat over cabbage layer and top with remaining 3 cups cabbage.
Spread tomato soup over the top; sprinkle with celery seed and brown sugar.
Cover and bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Makes 5 servings.
