Danish Cheese Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. crescent rolls
    1 c. sugar
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 egg yolk
    1 egg white
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Place the dough of 1 package of crescent rolls in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix the cream cheese, sugar and egg yolk and spread on dough.
    Place the second package of crescent rolls on top of the cream cheese mixture.
    Beat egg white until frothy and spread on dough.
    Mix sugar, cinnamon and nuts and spread on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for at least 4 hours before serving.
    Can be frozen.
