Buttermilk Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. Crisco shortening
1 1/2 sticks margarine
3 c. flour
3 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. buttermilk
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Bring to a boil, water, shortening and margarine.
Sift together flour, sugar and cocoa.
Pour boiling mixture over dry ingredients.
Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, salt and vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
