Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. soda
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix shortening, margarine, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Mix flour, soda and cream of tartar to shortening mixture.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll balls in 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes.
