Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. margarine, softened
3 c. sugar
6 egg yolks
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
8 oz. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
6 egg whites
Preparation

Cream margarine in mixer bowl until light.
Add sugar, beating until fluffy.
Beat in egg yolks, one at a time.
Add flour alternately with mixture of soda and sour cream, mixing well after each addition.
Mix in flavorings.
Beat egg whites in small mixer bowl until stiff peaks form.
Fold gently into batter.
