Earthquake Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. crushed pecans
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 cube oleo
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar
Preparation

Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle pecans, then coconut on bottom of pan.
Prepare cake mix as directed on box, then pour over pecans and coconut.
Beat oleo, cream cheese until smooth, then add vanilla and powdered sugar and beat until well blended.
Spoon mixture in large heaping spoonfuls on top of cake, avoiding the sides of the pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
Cake will seem not done, but as it cools, it sets.
