Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
dash of salt
1 to 1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Grease baking sheet very heavily.
Combine sugar, syrup and salt in a 3-quart bowl (microwavable).
Stir in peanuts. Microwave at High (100%) until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes, depending on your oven, stirring once or twice.
Stir in remaining ingredients until light and foamy.
Quickly spread on baking sheet as thin as possible for brittle candy.
Break into pieces once it is cool.
