Real Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 lb. sugar (2 c.)
    1 lb. eggs (10 eggs)
    1 lb. flour (4 c.; not cake flour)
    vanilla and lemon flavoring to taste
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well.
    Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, alternately
    with
    flour.
    Add
    flavoring.
    Place in a cold oven and set
    temperature
    at
    275\u00b0
    and cook for 2 hours without peeping.
